Week
of: April 18, 2016
Reading and Language Arts: This week students will
continue to look at different types of narrative stories and work with
nonfiction short passages with comparing/contrasting. **Students should be
reading at least 25 minutes for homework every night!
Writing: This week in writing, we
will be starting a new narrative and putting all our pieces together to write a
great story! Students are required to do
a few drafts and lots of additions! J
Science: This week we will review
rocks and minerals for our test. Study guides will come home tomorrow and test
will be on Friday!
Math: We will finish up with
geometry this week. This week students will be reviewing the different shapes
they have studied. They will also be continuing to classify shapes into larger
shape families. Our final test over Geometry will be on Thursday.
